Excellent quality hiking boots. I chose these because they are resolable. With good treatment they will last a long time. I took 1 size larger than my usual shoe size. The toe box is just wide enough (I walk on barefoot shoes most of the year). They are not as wide as some Meindls with ComfortFit sole. The support is sturdy.
Whether hut-to-hut treks or day hikes, the Tatra II Wide is a versatile boot that is a pleasure to hike in. Comfort is the name of the game – from the sure-grip Vibram® sole tread via the comfortable footbed to the intelligent lacing and soft, leather cuff. The Wide Version has a standard heel, but is wider at the forefoot and ball of the foot.
